- Set up and operate CNC machines, specifically vertical mills, performing 2-3 setups per day.
- Read and interpret blueprints to gather necessary materials and produce parts.
- Conduct first article inspections using quality tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Adjust machine feeds and speeds as necessary to maintain precision.
- Hold a tolerance of +/- .001 inches.
- Perform minor preventative maintenance on machinery.
- Experience in CNC machining, especially with mills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting prints.
- Ability to hold a tolerance of +/- .001 inches.
- Use of inspection tools for quality checks.
- Previous job shop experience.

Work Environment
The shop consists of a team of 40 people, specializing in custom parts for the agricultural, transportation, and shipping industries. The position operates on a flexible second shift from noon to 8 PM, with initial training during the day. The dress code includes jeans, t-shirts, and steel-toed shoes.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
