- Set up and operate CNC production machine tools
- Select and mount appropriate tooling for machining operations
- Determine feed rates and operating speeds for efficient machining
- Perform cut-off, trimming, countersinking, drilling, and other operations
- Verify dimensional accuracy using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Apply shop math to ensure precision
- Transfer computer files to numeric controllers
- Monitor machine operations and adjust as needed
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines
- Identify and report machine or product quality issues
- Maintain accurate documentation including production logs and inspection records
- 3–5 yearsof CNC machining experience
- Proficiency withFanuc controllers(3 and 5-axis)
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and technical diagrams
- Strong knowledge of G-Code
- Experience with metal, composite, and graphite materials
- Working knowledge of CAM software such as Mastercam and Verisurf
- Machining Certificate preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years’ experience, or 10 years total experience in the field, or 5 years’ experience with 5-axis machining

Job Title: CNC Machinist
Location: Stockton, California
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (9/80 schedule – every other Friday off)
Job Type: Permanent | Onsite
Pay: $23–$32/hr DOE

Job Description
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various CNC machines using Fanuc controllers, including3, 4, and 5-axis operations. You’ll perform high-quality, low-volume machining of metal, composite, and graphite parts in a structured aerospace production environment. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprints, shop math, G-Code, and the ability to transfer files to numeric controllers.
