CNC Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a CNC Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and optimization of our CNC machinery and equipment. Your role is critical in ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC maintenance, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be the 2nd highest level position within maintenance on the 2nd shift, so you must be an example to others.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and inspections on CNC machines, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues with CNC equipment.
• Repair and replace faulty components, including motors, sensors, and controllers.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs for all CNC equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must have skills of a general maintenance technician (experience with troubleshooting conveyor systems, pumps, VFD's, sensors, motors up to 480v, valves) along with CNC skills listed.
• Experience in clearing alarms on CNC equipment, related to tool changers and pallet changers.
• Knowledge of coolant systems and pumps.
• Ability to troubleshoot controls, preferably Fanuc but open to other controls experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of El Cajon, California

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $45.00/hr.
