CNC Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a CNC Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC Machines, including Mazak, the person, and Index. You will also troubleshoot sensors, Siemens and Mitsubishi PLCs, and perform hydraulic repairs and troubleshooting. Additionally, you will dismantle defective machinery, remove faulty parts using hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools, and minimize downtime by communicating maintenance schedules and ensuring adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC Machines including Mazak, the person, and Index.
• Troubleshoot sensors, Siemens, and Mitsubishi PLCs.
• Conduct hydraulic repairs and troubleshooting.
• Dismantle defective machinery and remove faulty parts using hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools.
• Minimize downtime by communicating maintenance schedules and ensuring adherence to procedures.
• Fabricate repair parts utilizing machine shop tools and equipment.
• Monitor and maintain inventories of equipment, parts, and supplies, placing orders as needed and verifying receipts.
• Provide mechanical maintenance information and respond to inquiries regarding equipment and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain mechanical maintenance reports, tracking issues, resolutions, and trends using company systems.
• Enhance technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and networking with industry professionals.
• Ensure proper communication among work teams regarding actions taken, irregularities, and ongoing needs.
• Promote a safe, clean work environment by adhering to all procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contribute to team goals and complete other tasks as necessary.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
