      CNC Maintenance Technician

      Job Description

      The CNC Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC Machines, including Mazak, Index, and others. This role involves troubleshooting sensors, Siemens and Mitsubishi PLCs, hydraulic repairs, and dismantling defective machinery. The technician will also fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools, monitor inventories, and provide mechanical maintenance information.

      Responsibilities

      • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines, including Mazak and Index.
      • Troubleshoot sensors, Siemens, and Mitsubishi PLCs.
      • Conduct hydraulic repairs and troubleshooting.
      • Dismantle defective machinery and remove faulty parts using hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools.
      • Minimize downtime by communicating maintenance schedules and ensuring adherence to procedures with production management.
      • Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools and equipment.
      • Monitor and maintain inventories of equipment, parts, and supplies, placing orders as needed.
      • Provide mechanical maintenance information and respond to inquiries regarding equipment and procedures.
      • Prepare and maintain mechanical maintenance reports, tracking issues, resolutions, and trends using company systems.
      • Ensure proper communication among work teams regarding actions taken, irregularities, and ongoing needs.
      • Promote a safe, clean work environment by adhering to all procedures, rules, and regulations.
      • Contribute to team goals and complete other tasks as necessary.

      Essential Skills

      • CNC maintenance experience
      • Hydraulic repair and troubleshooting skills
      • PLC troubleshooting skills
      • Electrical troubleshooting skills

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Experience with Siemens and Mitsubishi PLCs
      • Ability to dismantle machinery and remove faulty parts
      • Experience in fabricating repair parts using machine shop tools
      • This position is a 1st shift role

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
