      Job Description

      We are seeking a skilled CNC Horizontal Mill Machinist with experience in a dynamic, high-precision job shop environment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in setting up and operating both vertical and horizontal milling centers. Hurco conversational programming and GibbsCAM experience for programming and editing jobs is preferred. This role involves setting up and operating multiple machines, ensuring part quality, and contributing to a collaborative and quality-driven team.


      Key Responsibilities

      • Set up and operate horizontal and vertical milling machines.
      • Utilize Hurco conversational programming for efficient job setup and execution.
      • Program and edit jobs using GibbsCAM to meet production specifications.
      • Run multiple machines simultaneously while maintaining high productivity.
      • Perform setups, offsets, tool changes, and deburring as needed.
      • Operate pallet changers and assist in optimizing machine utilization.
      • Conduct in-process inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards.
      • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.

      Essential Skills & Qualifications

      • Minimum3 years of CNC milling experience in a job shop environment.
      • At least 1 year of experience with horizontal milling preferred.
      • Proficiency in Hurco conversational controls and GibbsCAM software.
      • Strong understanding of CNC machine setup and operation.
      • Ability to work independently and manage multiple machines effectively.
      • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
