  Job Description

  We are seeking dedicated machine operators to join our team. The role involves operating and maintaining metal cutting machines, ensuring product quality, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

  Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines including loading and unloading tasks.
  • Adjust machine settings and change tools as needed.
  • Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools.
  • Conduct quality inspections and record measurements into the quality system.
  • Report production data accurately and escalate issues to supervisors.
  • Follow International Automotive Task Force (IATF) quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively in a team to meet daily production targets.
  • Ensure compliance with safety rules and the First In, First Out (FIFO) method.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area according to 5S standards.

  Essential Skills

  • Minimum 6 months of CNC machine experience.
  • Good reading comprehension of work instructions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced setting, managing multiple machines.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal cutting machines.
  • Ability to read schematics and understanding of the metric system.
  • Proficiency in basic math and measurement devices.
  • Basic computer skills and preferred knowledge of CMM and SAP.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 80 lbs using material handling equipment.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and manual handling tasks.

  Work Environment

  Our facility is clean and climate-controlled, providing a comfortable work environment. Shifts are available from Monday to Friday with options for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Dress code is casual and safety-oriented.

  Job Type & Location

  This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gainesville, Georgia.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
