Program and optimize CNC machines for milling, turning, and multi-axis work

Review blueprints and models to plan machining strategies

Select tools, speeds, and feeds for efficient production

Run test programs and first article inspections

Edit and adjust G-code and CAM programs as needed

Collaborate with machinists and engineers on production improvements

5+ years of CNC machining/programming experience

Strong G-code and CAM software skills

Solid understanding of tooling, speeds, feeds, and GD&T
-
Ability to troubleshoot and support machinists on the floor

Swiss or sub-spindle machining experience is a plus
CNC Programmer – 1st Shift | Columbia, SC
Perceptive Recruiting is hiring a CNC Programmer for a leading manufacturing organization based out of Columbia, SC. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating, optimizing, and troubleshooting CNC programs for complex machining operations. Must have 5+ years of CNC machining and/or programming experience to be considered.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
