      Looking to use your CNC Programming and leadership skills in a new and growing company? We are looking for an skilled CNC Programmer to drive a high-performance and effectively deliver results.       Responsibilities

      repair and overhaul of steam and gas turbines for the power generation, oil & gas, and process industries,

      combining legacies and experience of Power Plant Services (PPS), Airco Power Services, Turbine Generator

      The CNC Machinist is responsible for the set-up and operation of a variety of computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools to produce or repair/refurbish precision parts in conformance with the Company’s requirements for safety, cost, schedule, and quality

      Calculate dimensions or tolerances of workpieces, products, or equipment, using instruments such as micrometers or vernier calipers

      Measure dimensions of completed products or workpieces to verify conformance to specifications

      Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations

      Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines

      Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process

      Monitor equipment operation to ensure proper functioning

      Support projects from planning and fabrication through assembly, inspection, and testing, using knowledge of machine functions, metal properties and mathematics



      The essential functions of this role include:
    • working in a smoke free environment
    • wearing steel toe shoes
    • working in a non-temperature controlled environment
    • standing for 8 hours at one time
    • working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week

    • CNC (2 years of experience is required)
    • CNC programming (2 years of experience is preferred)
    • set-up operation
    • computer skills (2 years of experience is preferred)
