Daily/Local Travel- most travel is 1hr commute range around Dayton, Cinci, and Columbus area.

Standard work hours are from 7:30am to 5:30pm, with a typical workweek of 40-45 hours.

Pay:$35-$40hr (depends on experience)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to install and service CNC machines in various manufacturing facilities. This role requires a blend of electrical and mechanical expertise to ensure the proper functioning of high-precision machinery.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily project assignments
• Install machines into customer facilities
• Perform reactive troubleshooting and maintenance
• Handle 60% electrical and 40% mechanical tasks
• Work with electrical systems: 24V-230V AC/DC, power supplies, slices, breakers, starters, drives (Fanuc), servos, computers, and controllers
• Read ladder logic and troubleshoot with voltmeters and megohmmeters
• Work with mechanical systems: hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, screws, 3-phase motors, bolts, and spindles
• Install software, primarily Winmax
• Primarily work on Hurco and Smart machines

Essential Skills

• Experience with Hurco, Smart, Okuma, Hwacheon, and Star CNC machines
• Proficiency in mechanical maintenance: motors, bearings, and spindles
• Proficiency in electrical maintenance: 24V-230V AC/DC
• Experience with Fanuc or Hurco systems
• Experience with voltmeters and megohmmeters
• Ability to work independently and autonomously
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read schematics and blueprints
• Background in machining and CNC troubleshooting
• PLC troubleshooting skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.
