  What we are looking for:

  Yazaki is looking for a motivated Co-op to join our YII Engineering team in Canton, MI. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, results-oriented environment and is eager to make meaningful contributions to the organization.

  What you will be doing:

  • Daily Responsibilities:
    Support the teardown of wire harnesses, collaborate with Design Release Engineers (DREs), contribute to engineering deliverables, and assist in PowerPoint presentations. Gain hands-on experience in wire harness design under the guidance of lead engineers. Responsibilities also include data analysis, creating graphical presentations, and summarizing teardown reports .
  • Success Metrics:
    A successful co-op will deliver detailed, well-organized teardown summary reports that contribute to ongoing engineering projects and process improvements.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with the YII Engineering team and engage with cross-functional partners including senior engineers, project managers, and DREs.
