      Position Summary

      This position provides the Co-Op Student, as part of their college studies, the experience of working in a regulated medical device company. The Co-Op Student undertakes a project that is of mutual benefit to the company and to the student’s practical and academic learning

      Key Areas of Responsibility

      • Implements the process improvement project identified by their Stryker Team Leader and meets the specified objectives and milestones.
      • Involves other key stakeholders and facilitates project meetings effectively.
      • Communicates project updates and presents at the relevant project review forums.
      • Handle data preparation and exploratory data analysis portions of a project utilizing data visualization tools such as PowerBI and SQL
      • Support the Integrated Planning & Inventory Management team on communication activities for townhalls, newsletters and other workplace communication tools used to drive employee engagement and team collaboration
      • Provides support to the team and department by completing other activities as required.
      • Ensures compliance with the Quality, Safety and 5S Systems
      • As a student, effectively adapts to practically working in a workplace by being dependable, dependable, punctual, initiative-taking, hardworking, organised and a team-player.
