PRIMARY PURPOSE:
As a Cocktail Server, you will be responsible for excellent customer service by delivering food and alcoholic beverages throughout the casino ensuring an exceptional guest experience.Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six (6) months of experience as a cocktail and/or food server in a similar environment.
• Experience working in a similar resort setting.• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position may require strenuous physical activities and exposure to pipe, cigar, and/or cigarette smoking. An ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays may also be required.*This is not intended to include every duty or responsibility of the job nor is it intended to be an all-inclusive list of the skills and abilities required to do this job.
Responsibilities
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Take orders and serve food and drinks efficiently and accurately in the work area as applicable.
• Place orders, garnish, and serve cocktails to guests.
• Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available.
• Knowledge of hotel services, features, local attractions, and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
• Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment including folding/stacking cocktail napkins, stock swizzle sticks, straws, matches, line cocktail trays, stock glassware, restock supply cabinet, inspect the cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areas; rectify any deficiencies.
• Resolve guest complaints within the scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, and/or notify the supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
