      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Code emergency room and outpatient records accurately and efficiently
      - Work with CCI/medical necessity edits as needed to ensure compliance
      - Monitor unbilled accounts for emergency room and outpatient services daily
      - Maintain quality and productivity metrics of 95% or greater
      - Complete required continuing education to stay updated on coding practices

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or GED
      - Must have completed a coding program and scored 80% or above on the outpatient coding exam
      - 0-6 months of work experience in a coding role
      - Demonstrated knowledge of Basic ICD-10 training and anatomy and physiology
      - Proficiency in PC and software applications

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - CCS certification is preferred
      - Additional experience in healthcare coding or related fields
