What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Resolve accounts in EPIC claim edit WQ's within ORC responsibility
- Handle claim edit error work types including ambulatory surgery and ED/hospital facility coding
- Proactively identify and resolve issues impacting business and documentation outcomes
- Organize and plan tasks efficiently to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 5 years of recent hospital-based coding experience
- Proven history of identifying, resolving, and escalating issues affecting business outcomes
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Graduate of an AHIMA-accredited Health Information Technology program or equivalent
- Familiarity with EPIC system with a minimum of 2 years of experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience as an Rx Technician or Customer Service Representative in a healthcare-related service
