What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Code using Clintegrity for ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes sequenced according to Medicare guidelines with applicable modifiers for each surgical episode
- Utilize the Automated Pending List to retrieve missing documents and reconcile them to Clintegrity WL
- Address questions from centers and physicians
- Provide coverage for teammates as needed
- Maintain current coding credentials and perform associated Continuing Education Units
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must have at least 3 years of experience with multi-specialty ASC coding
- Required licenses or certificates: Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Outpatient Coder (COC), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), and/or Certified Ambulatory Surgery Center Coder (CASCC)

- Participation in the annual SCA Coding Seminar
- Experience in a multi-specialty ASC environment
