What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a coding resource and provide expertise for IFP Product and configuration partners
- Develop and maintain code sets for defining medical and specialty benefits
- Ensure accurate and complete coding to support benefit intent
- Monitor code updates and update documentation as needed
- Facilitate meetings with key partners to achieve coding solutions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Possess and maintain CPC, CCS-P, CCS, CPMA, or equivalent coding credentials
- 3+ years of medical coding experience in a health insurance setting
- Experience analyzing data, problem-solving, and providing recommendations based on analysis
- Knowledge of commercial medical insurance benefits
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with health insurance reimbursement policy
- Familiarity with SNOMED, LOINC, NDC, and CDT
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence others
- Attention to detail and excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
