      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Update and create Coding Policies and associated edit configurations within the claims editing system
      - Respond to provider and member appeals, providing appropriate coding rationale
      - Monitor changes to codes, guidelines, and regulations from external agencies
      - Assist in implementing changes to claims adjudication and editing software
      - Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with coding standards and policies

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Coding certification through AAPC (CPC) or AHIMA (CCS) upon hire
      - Minimum of 5 years of experience in CPT coding from chart extraction with a healthcare provider, insurance company, or managed care company
      - 5 years of excellent writing and grammar skills
      - 5 years of demonstrated experience in detailed coding applications
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Access

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's Degree or experience in a Healthcare or Health Plan setting
      - 2 years of experience with Facets Claims Adjudication system and/or Optum CES editing software
