      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

      - Utilize technical coding expertise to review medical records and assign appropriate CPT and ICD10 codes with a minimum of 95% accuracy
      - Provide documentation feedback to physicians and train other staff on documentation, billing, and coding
      - Review and communicate new or revised billing and coding guidelines to providers and their assigned specialty
      - Resolve pre-accounts receivable edits and identify repetitive documentation problems and system issues
      - Meet established coding productivity and quality standards for each encounter type

      What is Required (Qualifications):

      - Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification, or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
      - Zero to two years of experience in a relevant role
      - 94% accuracy on organization's coding test

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

      - Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in a Health Information Management program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM)
      - Previous experience with physician coding
