What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review medical records to abstract and code physician professional services and diagnosis codes
- Provide documentation feedback to physicians and staff
- Train physicians and staff on documentation, billing, and coding
- Resolve pre-accounts receivable edits and identify documentation problems
- Maintain coding reference information and follow Official Guidelines for accurate coding

What is Required (Qualifications):
- RHIA, RHIT, CPC, or CCS certification
- Zero to two years of experience in a relevant role
- 94% accuracy on organization's coding test
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Health Information Management (preferred)
- Previous experience with physician coding (preferred)

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience as an Rx Technician or Customer Service Representative in a healthcare-related service
