      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Assign or verify CPT and ICD-10 CM coding and modifiers based on documentation for various clinical departments
      - Monitor charge flow and collaborate with managers and billing personnel to ensure accurate charge processing
      - Identify, report, and resolve coding and reimbursement issues to minimize claim denials
      - Develop and maintain protocols related to assigned areas of responsibility
      - Participate in provider education and orientation to improve documentation practices

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 CM coding
      - Understanding of medical insurance guidelines and governmental policies
      - Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain effective working relationships with team members and staff
      - Proven ability to meet or exceed established production rates and performance standards
      - Progressive computer skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in a coding or billing role within a healthcare environment
      - Familiarity with electronic charge processing and reconciliation practices
      - Previous involvement in provider education or training initiatives
