Role: Cognos Developer
Location: Burbank, CA

Description:-
Responsibilities and Duties
• Hands on development of Cognos BI reports
• Develop technical specification documents
• Consult with users, analyze requirements and recommend technical design and specifications.
• Review Content server configuration, current Cognos reports that is operational, data sources for Cognos reporting, Webserver configurations and Dispatcher configuration
• Prepare technical, operational and user related documentation in support of report applications.
• Provide technical support and training to functional users
• Perform other related duties as assigned
Experience
• 6+ years of Cognos Report development experience and at least 1 year with the latest version Cognos
• 2-3 years of experience with Framework Manager
• 6+ years of Cognos Package and Report development
• 6+ years of Data Modeling with both Oracle and SQL Databases
• Excellent SQL querying skills
Preferred
• Experience developing Cognos BI reports on an IBM Sterling backend
• Experience working on E-Commerce and Retail systems
• Cognos Developer Certification is preferredAbout the company
