We are seeking a proactive and experienced Collections Supervisor to join our team. This role requires managing the collections process, including overseeing weekly aging reports, leading collection calls, and ensuring accurate reconciliation of accounts. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a high-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage the collections process, ensuring timely follow-up on past due accounts (30, 60, and 90+ days).
• Lead and manage weekly collection calls, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
• Maintain and monitor weekly aging reports, reminder letters, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
• Present performance reports on collections and aging trends tri-weekly to management.
• Manage reconciliation of any cash received, ensuring accuracy and proper allocation.
• Understand and manage the tax roll process related to delinquent accounts.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports on past due accounts, identifying high-risk accounts for escalation.
• Execute collection strategies through calls, emails, and monitoring to maximize recovery efforts.
• Work closely with other departments to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
•Become the expert on customers reminder letter module in our ERP system.
• Support environmental collections\Waste and recycling/and landfill (experience is a plus but not required).
• Ensure compliance with company policies and collection regulations.
Pay rate: $68,640+ based on experience

Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a similar role.
• Supervisory experience in managing a team or leading collection efforts.
• Strong understanding of aging reports, reconciliation, and collections strategies.
• Experience with tax roll processes is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a high-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and collection management systems.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
