      Position Details:

      • Part Time: 20 hours per week
      • Location: Culver City

      Key Responsibilities

      • Provide career and college preparatory counseling services through group and individual counseling. Assist with interest inventories.
      • Write letters of recommendation for students regarding jobs, scholarships and special programs as requested .
      • Facilitate processing of student forms, UC Paperwork and applications.
      • Help students become aware of all phases of post-secondary school options.
      • Organize and maintain College Counseling Center containing college catalogs, brochures, handbooks, and other appropriate resource materials.
      • Maintain student records regarding post-secondary plans.
      • Experience with proctoring State and AP testing.
      • Experience with High School transcripts.

      Qualifications

      • Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential that authorizes counseling services strongly preferred.
      • Knowledge of graduation requirements and entrance requirements for post-secondary institutions .
      • Ability to work with students, parents, faculty, post-secondary educational representatives and community groups.
      • Expertise with proctoring State and AP testing.
      • Valid California driver license and good driving record required .

      Th e salary range represents the low and high end of the salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of The Help Group. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, professional and academic experience, certification, training, responsibilities of the position, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
