      Job Summary:

      Four Js is seeking application development summer interns passionate about new technologies to complement our implementation teams in the US and Latin America that deliver solutions to our clients.

      This position will be an eight-week summer internship in our Las Colinas, Texas office, and provides an opportunity to work with our clients and Four Js internal project teams to ensure the business requirements are delivered with excellence on-time and on-budget. The responsibilities will include the proper documentation of the technical design, implementation, unit testing, deployment, and training of the solution.

      This internship provides capabilities in both a client-facing and internal company delivery role.

      Position Overview:

      This internship provides capabilities in both a client-facing and internal company delivery role.

      About Four Js:

      Four Js Development Tools is a global software company with sales and support offices in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.       Required Experience:

      • College students majoring in business with an information technology / application development focus entering their junior or senior year.

      • Must have completed an information systems analysis and design class .

      • Knowledge of all aspects of the application development project lifecycle, including design, configuration, testing and cutover.

      • Must have strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills. The individual must exemplify integrity and professionalism in all business activities.

      • Skilled at working in a team environment while being a highly motivated, self-starter and self-learner.

      Key Expectations:

      • Learn various functions within a software business including: finance, business development, customer care, professional services, and application development (including R&D).

      • Obtain a programming language certification (Genero Certification).

      • Work closely with Four J’s professional services team lead in the development and testing of solutions.

      • Work with the functional team to identify requirements and translate requirements into the technical design.

      • Complete all required training and project activities to support both internal and external customers.

      • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Team Lead or Project Manager.

      • Perform ongoing customer care support services to existing clients.

      Required Technical Background:

      • Have completed an information systems analysis and design class.

      • Experience with databases, data modeling, and schema design.

      • Clear understanding of architectural concepts and the fundamentals of good software design.
