- Customer & Insurance Communication: Respond to customer inquiries and insurance-related questions with timely, professional communication.
- Estimating: Learn how to write accurate vehicle repair estimates.
- Parts Ordering: Understand how to identify, order, and track parts efficiently.
- Insurance Negotiations: Develop negotiation skills to work with insurance companies on approvals, pricing, and repair processes.
- CCC One Documentation: Maintain thorough and accurate records in CCC One.
- Scheduling: Coordinate customer appointments, walk-ins, and tow-in repairs.
- Paperwork Management: Process and review repair orders and documentation.
- Cashiering & Repair Order Closing: Learn how to accurately calculate customer payments and process transactions.
- Billing & Invoicing: Complete timely and accurate billing to ensure proper shop revenue.
- Accounts Receivable: Monitor receivables to ensure payments are collected within the billing cycle.
- Training & Development: Participate in structured training, including a six-month performance review and a 12-month development track.
- Shop Support: Assist with all shop income-related activities and maintain the proper paper work to support efficient workflows.
- General Assistance: Perform additional duties as required to support daily operations and customer needs.
- Work Area Maintenance: Keep your work area clean and organized.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- College degree preferred, or 1 year of dealership experience.
- Basic knowledge of Collision Center bookkeeping and accounts receivable.
- Familiarity with dealership and Collision Center DMS systems is a plus.
- Must be available to work Saturdays and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to commute daily to New York City.
The Collision Center Junior Advisor plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Collision Center. This entry-level position focuses on intake of collision-related repairs, managing insurance claims, upselling UPD work, setting customer expectations, and keeping clients informed throughout the repair process. The Junior Advisor will also answer insurance-related questions and assist in administrative tasks across the shop.
This role includes hands-on training designed to build essential skills in estimating, insurance negotiations, parts ordering, billing, and overall shop operations. With a structured career track, the Junior Advisor position offers clear growth opportunities toward becoming a fully trained Collision Center Adjuster or Advisor.
