      Purpose of Role

      We are searching for a Color Designer II - Footwear to focus on and elevate Color Design. Working closely with Design leadership, he/she/they will build palettes, strategy, and color application across multiple apparel and footwear categories. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative designer who is dialed into color, trends, sport culture and can lead from concept through execution.

      Your Impact

      • Work collaboratively with Color Design leadership and respective team members to produce brand relevant color palettes and application strategies that reflect Under Armour’s DNA.
      • Be a key partner in applying seasonal color that aligns with our greater color strategy.
      • Gather, prepare, and present conceptual ideas.
      • Collaborate with product designers and merchandisers to create consistent head-to-toe looks.
      • Lead color design application and reviews for multiple categories.
      • Provide product conceptualization and alternatives that meet the needs of the product as outlined by product merchandising and the product brief.
      • Build and manage tech packs.

      Qualifications

      • BA, BFA or BS in Color, Apparel, Graphic or Industrial Design
      • 5-8+ years of experience preferred
      • Advanced user of Adobe Creative Suite

      Workplace Location

      • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Portland, Oregon office.
      • Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 3 days in-office per week through September 5, 2025. Beginning September 8, 2025, the in-office requirement will increase to 4 days per week.

      Base Compensation

      $79,259.31 - $108,981.55 USD

      Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
