What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Speak with consumers over the phone experiencing emotional distress or mental health issues
- Build rapport and engage clients
- Assess risk and document information during calls
- Provide resources and information needed by clients
- Identify coping strategies and develop safety plans
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate degree in behavioral health field (MSW, PsyD, or PhD) or MA or MS in behavioral health with a clinical practice emphasis
- Licensed as a limited or fully licensed social worker or counselor as per state licensing board requirements
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in crisis counseling or related healthcare services
