THE DIVISION:
Connected Communities leads government’s mandate to expand internet connectivity and highway cellular services for the benefit of British Columbians. The division provides funding programs, expertise, tools and supports to communities, local governments and First Nations in the expansion, coordination and provision of telecommunications services, technologies that enable the digital transformation of communities in every corner of the province.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Director, Stakeholder Relations, the Client Relations Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining communications materials, processes and systems to support the ministry’s mandate to enhance connectivity in British Columbia. This role leads the development of internal and external materials, including graphic design, for reports and materials, presentations, and templates, and is the authority on branding, photography, and design for the division. This role also supports the management of the Connectivity in B.C. webpages and internal intranet site and is responsible for preparing materials to support engagement at external conferences and events.
The Client Relations Coordinator is a key role in the division that leads correspondence with external parties and manages processes to track, monitor and update communications materials on connectivity in B.C. This role generates value for the Connectivity Division, interested parties, industry experts and partners through developing materials that are transparent, build trust and employ best practice in innovation, business improvement, and communications.
