      The Commercial Analyst conducts analyses of the commercial contracts, employing a complete understanding of commercial needs and available alternatives. The Commercial Analyst maintains databases with a focus on the acreage dedication, analyzes asset portfolios, and contributes to the processing of new and existing deals to increase contract margin.

      Responsibilities May Include:

      • Review dedications in commercial agreements, verify the accuracy of the data in the internal software systems, and update the information as needed to correctly reflect the contracted acreage identified.
      • Monitor contract expirations and execute re-contracting strategy based on commercial direction.
      • Identify commercial deals that are outside market conditions and provide recommendations.
      • Analyze existing commercial deals to ensure portfolio is optimized and contractual terms being followed.
      • Provide reports and analysis to bring visibility to the contract portfolio; provide recommendations based on analysis.
      • Draft and manage contracts throughout the life cycle of the commercial agreements for gathering and processing team.
      • Proactively communicate with key stakeholders around contract updates.
      • Improve and maintain the quality and integrity of contract databases.
      • Ensure contracts are compliant with internal and SOX policies.
      • Embrace continuous improvement, while motivating the team.
      • Perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.


      Required Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing or equivalent work experience
      • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communications skills
      • Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
      • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • ARC-GIS knowledge
      • Quorum Esuite knowledge, specifically with QCM
      • Working knowledge of land and property surveys
