      The Opportunity:

      Reporting to the General Manager of our Chile affiliate, as the Commercial & Marketing Head, Chile, you will work in collaboration with Sales, Market Access, and Medical Affairs and be accountable for overall sales, market share and management of the product portfolio in Chile. You will be responsible for definition and implementation of marketing strategies for existing and new products within all therapeutic areas. You will develop new business opportunities for each therapeutic area and ensures timely and effective implementation. You will liaise with Medical Affairs, Sales, Market Access leaders and other key senior cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that customer opportunities are efficiently translated into effective initiatives. You must be able to work independently with minimum guidance from the General Manager while being able to influence senior management. You will be responsible for leading the creation of the annual marketing plan and 5-year Strategy Plan to encompass the development, execution, and evaluation of strategies and tactics for all customer targets with input from cross-functional teams, external partners, and customers according to defined KPIs (key performance indicators). You will be responsible for leading new product launches. You will be accountable for production and sales forecasts, product life cycle, Advertising and Promotion budget and, in collaboration with Medical Affairs and Market Access, for the development of relationships with external consultants (e.g., publication planning agencies, medical education agencies, public relations agencies) and advertising agencies.

      This is a hybrid role, which offers a combination of an onsite and remote work schedule. #LI-hybrid

      The Role:

      • Under general direction, develops and implements marketing plans and strategies for assigned portfolio/product.
      • Implements Global Business Team (GBT) defined tactical priority initiatives.
      • Monitors, analyzes, and evaluates product performance and customer feedback to generate new product ideas.
      • Provides recommendations for brand-portfolio life cycle management and identifies new product opportunities.
      • Cooperates with relevant internal parties to ensure alignment of sales and marketing strategies.
      • Develops and maintains relationship with opinion leaders, customers, research institutions, patient organizations etc.
      • Prepares and presents to the General Manager and the Chilean Management Team, the Vision, and Long-Term Marketing Strategy to ensure that sales, profit, and market shares are achieved for the whole portfolio.
      • Elaborates, in co-operation with the Marketing Analyst and the Chilean Commercial team, the marketing budget, the promotional activities for existing products and new product launches, as well as all new marketing or commercial developments. The Marketing Manager CL will be involved in the execution of the tactical plans and the follow-up of all marketing expenses.
      • Monitors local market activities and trends to get better insights and take the right decisions.
      • Analyses at least annually the Return of Investment of every action concerning scientific promotion, advertisement (digital campaigns, brochures, publications), to improve Company success and ROI.
      • Develops and maintains strong relationships with key opinion leaders including clinicians, hospital pharmacists, hospital financial direction, purchasers, patient associations, and other policy formers to optimally develop the product portfolio.
      • Inspires and motivates the whole team, especially the MA and KAMs about the vision, the strategy, and the marketing action plan. The Marketing Manager CL will work in close collaboration with the General Manager CL, he will assign project responsibilities for the implementation and execution of the Marketing Plan.
      • Works closely together with Medical Manager (remote), Sales Manager, Market Access Manager (remote).
      • Works on KOL Management to develop advocacy among opinion leader through the different departments.
      • Prepares and proposes the positioning and strategy for price and reimbursement of newly registered and existing products. Provides support in the Market Access process, including market analysis, cost analysis, patient segmentation.

      Your Skills and Experience:

      • Bachelors' degree in business, marketing, communications, life sciences or healthcare discipline
      • 5 – 7 years' experience in sales and marketing or related experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry. Refer to local job documentation where applicable.
      • Product management, international and sales representative experience advantageous
      • Mother tongue Spanish, excellent English, additional languages are an advantage.
      • Good Computer skills in Microsoft Office applications, knowledge of other Information systems and tools is a distinct advantage.
      • Deep knowledge of healthcare business/Pharmaceutical products.
      • Good knowledge of digital marketing strategies and social media.
      • Business acumen and sense for business analysis.
      • Business Strategy skills, organization of product launches, evaluation of the unstable market situation, sense for business opportunities.
      • Good knowledge of Scientific Communication and promotion.
      • Ability to create collaborative relationships and networking, both inside and outside the company.
