- Assist with qualification of new loan opportunities and preparation of deal screening memos
- Assist with preparation of pitch books and related external marketing materials
- Assist with identifying, researching and tracking prospects
- Assist with maintaining CKC database, activity tracking and conflicts reporting / clearance
- Participate in or lead special projects as requested by the Region Manager
- Complete rotations with our Underwriting, Portfolio and field exam teams
- BA/BS degree required (Business, Finance & Accounting preferred; all majors considered)
- Minimum GPA 3.2 required
- Superior analytical, leadership, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
- Keen attention to detail and creative mindset
- Proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Exhibit sound judgement and the ability to work as a team player
As an analyst you will gain critical skills in financial analysis, risk assessment, due diligence, and deal structuring. Our analysts function as fully integrated deal team members supporting senior originators within Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries (MMBSI). MMBSI provides credit, cash management, capital markets and corporate finance advisory solutions to corporations, municipalities and not-for-profit entities via our Core Banking and Specialized Industries teams.
You’ll begin with an intensive Credit Training program. Here, you’ll learn about our products and services, clients and business practices. Under the leadership of our lending and training professionals and outside consultants, you will gain in-depth knowledge of accounting, commercial banking, underwriting, financial statement analysis, cash flow analysis and credit structuring, among a host of other topics. The program uses a full range of teaching techniques and learning reinforcement, including lectures, team exercises, exams and case studies.
