  Job Title: Commercial Carpenter - up to $37/hr

  Job Description

  As a Commercial Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing various general carpentry duties related to commercial projects. You will work closely with a team of carpenters and a foreman to ensure high-quality construction and fit-out projects.

  Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints to execute projects accurately.
  • Perform selective hand demolition as required.
  • Engage in rough wood carpentry tasks.
  • Complete millwork and finish carpentry with precision.
  • Hang drywall and perform taping, spackling, and finishing.
  • Execute metal stud framing with expertise.
  • Install ACT ceilings and acoustical ceilings efficiently.
  • Install doors, frames, and hardware with attention to detail.
  • Utilize hand and electric tools safely and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in framing techniques.
  • Experience with metal stud and acoustic ceiling installations.
  • Expertise in commercial carpentry and drywall applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with steel studs is highly desirable.

  Work Environment

  Work hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

  Dress code: High-vis gear, jeans, hard hat, and safety boots

  Project types: Primarily fit-outs with occasional new

  construction

  Team setup: Small groups with 1–2 carpenters and a foreman

  Culture: Friendly, respectful, and cooperative

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $37.00/hr.
