      Job Description:

      This role supports commercial credit underwriting for both Middle Market and Business Banking. The underwriter performs underwriting analysis (i.e. financial, borrower, industry, etc.), prepares supporting deal justification (i.e. CAM), is responsible for initial data entry for pricing and profitability tool, ensures data quality of credit related client & deal information (NAICS, collateral, pricing, guarantees, terms/conditions, regulatory i.e. CRA, etc.) and provides recommendation to Credit Officer on deal structure & approval (based on level/experience). Typically has 2-3 years of credit analyst experience; financial/accounting/economics degree (or experience with financial documents) preferred.

      Role can be filled as an Underwriter I or II

      Required Skills:

      • BS/BA degree and 2-3 years of credit analyst experience preferred

      • Experience in financial analysis and portfolio management

      • Analytical/technical skills, including financial accounting, and modeling

      • Strong communication skills; ability to communicate vertically, horizontally, and externally
