      The Role of Commercial Director:

      The Commercial Director is an executive level role that provides leadership to the sales and marketing team in order to position the property as the premier deluxe hotel/resort in the location. The Director ensures that sales and catering activities and bookings are focused to yield maximum revenue per room occupied.

      We are looking for individuals who are proactive and who have a proven track record in sales and marketing. The applicant is expected to demonstrate the ability to represent Four Seasons on sales calls as well as participate in travel fairs and exhibitions. Strong management skills and communication effectiveness are a requirement for this role. Sales or Hospitality Education is preferable, however, not essential if applicants have previous relevant work experience.

      Regular travel is required with this position.

      What we are looking for:

      Basic Qualifications:

      -College degree from an accredited University preferably majoring in Sales or Marketing.

      -Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role.

      -Minimum of three years’ experience in an executive level role.

      -Proven leadership skills in a hotel/resort environment.

      -Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare and deliver reports, effective presentations and to facilitate meetings.

      - Working technical knowledge of generally accepted principles of sales and marketing functions.

      -Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams, to negotiate for resources and influence stakeholders and to gain acceptance of and commitment to plans, ideas, initiatives, etc.

      -Require knowledge of and the ability to operate computer equipment and Microsoft Office Suite software.

      -Ability to read, write and speak English.

      -High level of integrity and transparency

      -A working knowledge of hotel systems and operations.

      -Strategic, analytical and have solid business acumen.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited University with a major in Sales and/or Marketing.

      -Five years – Seven years’ experience in a similar role.

      -Experience in an executive level role in a luxury hospitality environment.

      -Previous Four Seasons or luxury brand experience.
