      Do you want to be part of an international team focused on designing better supply chains for DSV’s largest customers? Do you have a keen interest in helping our customers to decarbonize their logistics?
      As the Commercial Director for North America your primary role will be to create internal and external awareness about our Supply Chain Optimization and Green Logistics services, support and drive commercial engagements with our customers, and ensure that we build a strong project pipeline in North America. You will be exposed to a wide range of clients as well as key stakeholders in the DSV organization. Through this job you will have the opportunity to advance your personal and professional competencies within Supply Chain Optimization and Green Logistics.

      As part of the Supply Chain Optimization and Green Logistics team, you will be working together with a global team of like-minded colleagues. We are a diverse group of supply chain and sustainability experts with different backgrounds, but we all share the same passion to work with our clients to help them optimize and decarbonize their supply chains. As most of the team, including the analyst team, is located at our Headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark, you will take lead on the North American engagements. Initially we will support you with analytical capabilities from Denmark. However, as the pipeline of North American projects grows our intention is to establish a team of analysts in North America as well.

      Help design better and greener supply chains
      In this position, your key role will be to establish our Supply Chain Optimization and Green Logistics services in North America. You will create awareness, sell, scope and project manage customer projects for existing and potential DSV customers.

      Your tasks include:

      • Lead and drive commercial engagement for our Supply Chain Optimization and Green
      • Logistics services in North America
      • Create and maintain internal and external awareness of Supply Chain Optimization and Green Logistics services
      • Help drive Continuous Improvement engagements with DSVs Top-100 customers by applying the ‘From Ideas to Impact’ framework
      • Meet and exceed assigned sales targets
      • Manage and execute optimization projects supported by the team of analysts

      A commercial talent with a passion for supply chain management and sustainability
      The ideal candidate is highly motivated by getting the opportunity to establish and grow the footprint for our Supply Chain Optimization and Green Logistics services in North America. You are a team player with a strong drive, takes initiative and thrives in a changing international environment. A strong passion for logistics and supply chain as well as a desire to help decarbonize logistics is key.

      We are looking for a candidate with the following qualities:

      • Strong commercial drive and a proven track record
      • Self-motivated and self-driven which is key to substantially increase the demand for Supply Chain Optimization and Green Logistics in North America
      • You have excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
      • A solid understanding of logistics and supply chain management
      • Experience from key account management and business development within the 3PL industry is a plus
      • Good knowledge of overall Sustainability topics covering ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) elements is a plus. A strong motivation to learn even more important
      • Consulting experience a plus
      • Willingness to travel

      For this position, the expected base pay is: $104,500 - $156,500 / Annual. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, geographical location, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
