- Collaborate with a wide range of internal stakeholders in Sales & Marketing, our R&D, VPs and the Executive Board
- Develop and lead Marketing Excellence projects and structures, working closely with leaders in Sales & Marketing to drive successful implementation and quantify their impact
- Drive and ensure our market-driven innovation process and coordinate the launch of new products
- Foster best-practice sharing and maintain visibility and consistency of Commercial Excellence across Borealis
- Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team to implement changes in commercial behavior, including training programs
- Present and report Commercial/Marketing Excellence initiatives to Borealis management committees
- Define KPIs and enable proper follow-up via our platforms
- Utilize external benchmarking and conduct yearly diagnostics across Borealis to identify future key initiatives
- Support the implementation of sales excellence tools
- Strong background in senior marketing roles or commercial roles with a strong marketing focus
- Academic background business, marketing or chemical studies (MBA of advantage)
- Any experience from the chemical / plastics industry and familiarity with innovation processes will be a bonus
- Proficiency in analytical and conceptual skills, financial literacy and data management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to steer larger projects, including their implementation
- Effective at asserting influence and connecting to multiple stakeholders to drive alignment
- Demonstrated track record in effective stakeholder management, particularly with senior leaders, including preferably having a presence on boards and leadership teams

We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Excellence Manager to join our “Customer Experience & Business Intelligence” team at Borealis. Your contribution will significantly enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our commercial units, ultimately contributing to Borealis' overall financial performance and success. Therefore, this role is highly visible in the company and presents significant career development prospects.
Your primary focus will be leading projects and initiatives in Commercial Excellence across all our main industry clusters (Energy, Consumer Products, Mobility, Healthcare, Infrastructure and Base chemicals). You will play a crucial role in developing best-practice marketing processes and tools while analyzing our commercial performance.
Your main areas of intervention will include segmentation, service level differentiation, innovation and the overall marketing strategy. You will assess project results and collaborate closely with our Commercial Vice Presidents as well as with key Sales & Marketing executives, to coordinate execution.

We offer a role specific compensation and a competitive salary and fringe benefit package reflecting your profile, experience and the specifics of the country/location you apply for.
Following Austrian law regulations, we offer, reflecting your experiences, skills and competencies, competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement chemical industry starting at EUR 73.112,90 annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week) and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background. In addition, we offer a yearly bonus and a voluntary company pension plan.
