- Creation of the accommodation business cases for approval through working with the Group Purchasing & Central product teams. This will include but is not limited to reviewing and challenging where necessary the profitability assumptions, the volume assumptions and allocations within TUI Group, etc.
- Responsibility for running the fortnightly GPPIC (Group Product & Purchasing Investment Committee) meetings for formal approval of the business cases.
- We regularly send business cases to Group CFO and GEC for approval, you will be responsible for ensuring the business cases are sent in a timely manner, and work with the CFO office on any questions that they have to support the approval.
- Support the Finance Business Partner on continued improvement of business case approvals.
- You will business partner the Heads of Purchasing on key hotelier accounts
- From time to time you will be expected to deliver information and ad-hoc analysis with defined narrower scope aligned to the current conditions within the market at a specific moment in time.
- You may be involved in ad-hoc projects where the Director/Head of Commercial Finance or the Group Purchasing function identify potential to reduce costs/improve margin/drive synergies or where investment can be better allocated to drive higher overall benefit for the Group
- Experienced part-qualified financial professional
- Analytical, accurate, numbers driven, methodical and process orientated person
- Strong communication skills
- Able to influence, persuade & encourage
- High proficiency in MS Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Teams & Outlook
- Previous experience with reporting tools – Business Objects and Spotfire advantageous
- International capability – ability to work with multiple stakeholders across a range of local markets
- Experience of SAP and Readsoft an advantage

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Group Purchasing Commercial Finance Team based in Luton. As Commercial Finance Analyst you will be responsible for the process for and preparation of business cases for accommodation contracting.
You will support the Group Purchasing Finance Business Partner on business partnering with the Heads of Purchasing on Key Hotelier Accounts.
