- Oversees Government and Institutional (G&I) revenue growth, business model execution, strategic planning (retention, acquisition, expansion), sales performance, G&I Banker development and client satisfaction
- Manages a team of G&I Bankers through performance management, tracking and sales process driven direction and coaching
- Partners with local market and regional leadership to shape client selectivity definition and establish market level client and prospecting priorities
- Maintains area market visibility in terms of joint calling, sales meeting participation, and partnership with area management teams
- Develops and executes strategy to retain, acquire and expand relationships, deliver on key processes and align associate resources with opportunities
- Develops revenue and production goals and defines incentive specifications
- Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years of experience in Commercial banking sales or relationship management
- Prior experience in management/supervisory role
- Advanced credit acumen
- Demonstrated history of executing strategy, developing markets, and closing complex transactions
- Master’s degree in related field
- Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts
- Ability to learn additional systems as needed
- Ability to supervise and manage a team
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment when applicable
- Ability to maintain a positive industry reputation
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities

At Regions the Commercial Government and Institutional Banking Executive manages the Government & Institutional business and sales effort for Commercial Banking.
Primary Responsibilities
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
