      Commercial Graphic Designer

      Position Overview

      Our in-house Creative Services team is seeking a passionate, creative, energetic, and well-rounded graphic designer who can drive new creative as well as support existing strategic direction. It is fast paced, deadline driven work requiring flexibility, resourcefulness, ability to shift priorities and occasionally work non-standard hours. This position is hybrid and will work from our commercial marketing campus full-time in Cartersville, GA.

      The individual who accepts this position will execute graphic design for the commercial brands and commercial division ensuring brand accuracy, driving customer relationships, and expanding the reach of the sales force in the commercial flooring marketplace.

      Responsibilities:

      • Drive execution for a variety of print and interactive commercial marketing: branded presentations, custom catalogs, training materials, email-marketing campaigns, websites, trade shows and events, product launch materials and more

      • Coordinate with the Associate Creative Director and internal marketing stakeholders to ensure designs align with each brand’s strategy

      • Confirm all graphic design projects meet basic requirements for client usability, brand integrity, and marketing message accuracy

      • Provide basic graphic design production support for internal and external customers

      • Manage multiple projects and exhibit excellent time management and organizational skills

      • Exhibit excellent knowledge of applications and design principles

      • Exhibit excellent communication and presentation skills

      • Ability to work in a team environment or independently

      • Occasionally monitor print production and adjusting as necessary to ensure consistent and accurate output

      Requirements:

      • Graphic Design Degree or related field

      • 3+ year experience, in-house or agency

      • Exceptional aesthetic sense and intuitive understanding of design principles

      • Exceptional sense and use of layout and typography

      • Print and web design capabilities and knowledge; must know how to work in both media for integrated campaigns

      • Must have excellent knowledge of Adobe CC: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat Pro

      • Experience in HTML and CSS and content management systems is a plus

      • Experience with Microsoft Suite including PowerPoint

      • Knowledge of various media including print, digital and spatial design

      • Excellent collaborative and inter-personal skills

      • Must present portfolio of work including examples of typography, layout, photography, vector graphics, and digital image manipulation among other services.

      8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
