- Perform maintenance, installation, and repair work on HVAC systems, equipment, and components.
- Install, repair components related to HVAC and other trades.
- Apply HVAC theory, techniques, codes, and procedures.
- Follow safety rules, procedures, and practices, including the proper use of safety equipment as defined by OSHA and industry standards.
- Use tools and equipment safely, including precision measuring instruments and powered/non-powered hand tools.
- Complete work within reasonable lengths of time as measured against trade, industry, or engineered standards.
- Knowledge of HVAC theory, techniques, codes, and procedures.
- Proficient use of HVAC tools and equipment.
- Ability to solve problems and manage information.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Journeyman certification.
- Experience with commercial buildings.

Work Environment
The work is performed in a hospital shop environment using various HVAC and sheet metal trade tools and equipment, including precision measuring instruments and powered/non-powered hand tools.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.64 - $37.32/hr.
