      Overview

      We are seeking an HVAC Technician for assignment in Tucson, Arizona. The selected candidate will install, service and repair HVAC systems in office buildings and other commercial / industrial settings.

      Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

      ** This position has a pay rate of $24 - $32/hr **

      ** Candidates must have industrial or commercial experience **

      Responsibilities

      - Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC systems including cleaning, lubricating and inspecting components

      - Troubleshooting and correcting digital control software

      - Join tubing or pipes to various refrigerating units with pro-press, unions, solder and brazing

      - Observe pressure and vacuum gauges and adjust controls to ensure proper operation

      - Troubleshoot joints and connects for leaks, using gauges or soap and water solution

      - Minor insulation repairs

      - Troubleshoot electrical components, fuses, contractors, controls, etc.

      - May service and repair air conditioners, up to 200 tons cooling capacity

      - Troubleshoot vav controls

      - Performs other duties as assigned such as electrical, plumbing or general maintenance

      Qualifications

      - A valid Drivers License

      - Industrial / commercial HVAC experience with refrigeration and controls systems

      - An EPA Universal Certification is highly preferred

      - Working knowledge of AHU motors is highly preferred
