      Job Description

These job requirements allow the employee to work at a Lockheed Martin-designated office or job site for part of their schedule and has a predefined regular, recurring telework schedule for the remaining part of their work schedule.

      WHAT WE'RE DOING
      We are seeking a skilled Price/Cost Analyst to conduct market research, review supplier quotes and proposals, and perform price analyses to ensure fair and reasonable pricing for RMS products and services. The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers, Supply Chain Management personnel, and RMS Engineers to support negotiations with the goal of affordable products and services for LM's customers.

      THE WORK
      • The candidate will be responsible for conducting market research and documenting reviews of RMS supplier quotes and proposals to determine if proposed products/services meet commercial products and services definitions per Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and RMS internal policies and procedures.

      • The candidate will also conduct price analyses to determine whether suppliers have proposed fair and reasonable pricing, and support negotiations to ensure the most affordable products and services are provided to LM’s customers.

      • The candidate will work closely with RMS suppliers, other Supply Chain Management personnel, and RMS Engineers.

      • The candidate will be expected to work independently, communicate with confidence, and own projects from start to finish, with regular opportunities to collaborate with teammates on best practices and lessons learned.

      •This role typically requires 10% travel.

      There are numerous complexity 1 and 2 domestic and international suppliers, including new production/capture, sustainment and spares. The position will manage an organization of approximately 9 to drive program performance on existing programs, including LCS and MMSC, as well as drive supply chain strategy and proposal development for key orders including Combatant Ships Domestic/International expansion.

      Desired skills

      • Persuasive writing about complex topics
      • Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and U.S. Government procurement procedures, especially FAR Parts 12 and 15
      • Defense industry contracting experience
      • Basic understanding of negotiation strategy
      • Experience interpreting regulatory requirements, guidance and policy

      Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

      National Pay Statement

      Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $77,700 - $136,965. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
      Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
      (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
