- Analyzes credit authorizations and due diligence files and produces professional and accurate loan documentation.
- Works closely with Documentation Manager, loan officers, and credit analysts to ensure acute understanding of deal points for large and complex loan types.
- Communicates with all departments (including credit administration, senior management, and operations staff) addressing potential issues with documentation, operations, and administration.
- Identifies documentation needs, improves processes, and develops library of custom documents and provisions.
- Follows complex deals through drafting, execution, closing, and boarding.
- Minimum of two (2) years of commercial loan documentation experience.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent in related years’ work experience.
- Ability to read, understand and administer complex legal agreements.
- Excellent writing ability; must be able to translate negotiated deal points and conditions into clear, concise and accurate language.
- Experience using LaserPro document preparation software preferred.
Description
River City Bank is seeking a Commercial Loan Documentation Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of analytical and administrative loan documentation functions for commercial loans. The position works closely with loan officers and credit analysts to produce documents for large and complex loans including commercial real estate, C&I, and agricultural loans.
