      Job Overview

      This position reports to the Commercial Credit Administration Manager. This role requires someone with a high level of analytical and organizational skills, a thorough understanding of commercial lending programs, policies, guidelines and procedures to include excellent communication abilities.

      Position Details:

      Hourly- Full-Time

      Hours: Monday-Friday, occasional Saturdays

      Pay Range:

      $20.78-$31.17

      Qualifications


      Skills and Experience

      • Minimum five or more years of commercial lending operations experience
      • High school degree/GED or more than one year of commercial lending operations experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
      • Previous work experience should include but not be limited to loan processing, loan closing, loan funding, ability to read and interpret title commitment/policy, review and balancing of loan settlement statements
      • Ability to examine all related loan documentation/disclosures ensuring all information is accurate and consistent with credit union polices, guidelines and regulations
      • Perform due diligence to identify possible fraudulent activity
      • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal abilities
      • Understanding of financial industry concepts, related laws, and regulations
      • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
      • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
      • Detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based applications

      Role Description and Essential Duties

      • Responsible for processing and servicing of loan requests from application through maturity/payoff, loan file set-up, monitoring and tracking of loan covenants and credit file review to ensure loan file is well documented and within existing policies/guidelines/procedures to ensure compliance.
      • Role will provide loan origination support with assistance reviewing loan presentations, closing/funding of business loans and assisting with data gathering.
      • Responsible for assisting with member interaction and transactions. Provides guidance and answers questions related to credit union and department related services. Supports cross-selling efforts and solves problems.
      • Knowledgeable expert who is educated on all services provided. Attends required Credit Union trainings to include but not limited to continued learning courses such as CPD courses, Cyber Trainings and LinkedIn courses.
      • Training members and team members on applicable business services and related loan documentation such as but not limited to loan documents, title policy, insurance, settlement/closing statements, and reporting.
      • A natural communicator whose work involves providing guidance to our members/team members for the purpose of first level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation.
      • Responsibilities may require a certain analysis of financial data and interpretation of documents related to loan processing, closing, and servicing. Role may require proactive thinking, innovation, and evaluation.
      • Role will be responsible for identifying and providing suggestions to improve process efficiencies with the development of procedures/training guides.
      • Responsibilities will directly influence credit union/department budgetary goals as it pertains to accuracy of loan closings and successful servicing to include monitoring delinquency and loan covenant monitoring.
      • Complies with all Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) rules and regulations, in addition to Customer Identification Program (CIP). Attends required annual BSA training and required compliance training.
      • Assists with other duties as assigned or identified.
