      As Commercial Manager – 3rd Party Ancillaries, you will support the drive of ancillary revenue across the TUI UK business with a focus on local supplier management, on sale set up, channel optimisation & promotion, and performance of various specialist products which support the core Sun & Beach product.

      Your role involves engaging with both existing and new ancillary suppliers that align with and enhance holiday experiences, ultimately delivering a unique and distinguished customer offering.

      ABOUT THE JOB

      • Collaborate with Car Hire suppliers, ensuring agreements are in place and optimizing performance. You'll be the point of contact for these providers, managing accounts effectively.
      • Define a strategy to boost our Attraction Ticket business. This involves evaluating competitors, suggesting pricing changes, and enhancing promotion across online and offline channels. Your plan will drive overall margin.
      • Take charge of relationships with various local suppliers, such as the Cuba Visa company, National Express, and Universal Parks & Resorts. Your goal is to optimise performance across TUI UK distribution channels and generate business benefits.
      • Ensure that our channels are fully engaged with the ancillary product range, optimizing performance. TUI Retail, in particular, will benefit from your focus due to its integral role in our Ancillaries strategy.
      • Consider the digital journey and work with the Digital Marketing team to improve online conversion. You'll drive optimisation tests that clearly demonstrate business benefits.
      • Stay ahead by understanding and co-creating new ancillary products with the Central Markets Ancillaries Team. Recent examples include E-Visa service, pre-booking for golf tee times, and E-Sim. Your role is to ensure these initiatives are optimised in the UK market and effectively implemented with performance tracking in place.

      ABOUT YOU

      • Direct experience of working with a UK customer market is required. Retail and/ or marketing experience advantageous
      • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written.
      • Strong relationship building skills required to engage with both UK stakeholders and our Central Ancillaries team.
      • Proven experience of managing 3rd party suppliers.
      • Strong initiative with ability to deliver both working on own and in a team.
      • Strong commercial acumen, with ability to balance customer needs with commercial viability to make sound decisions.
      • Highly organised with a flexible approach to working within a fast changing, fast moving international environment.
      • Can cope well under pressure and display a positive “can do” attitude.
      • A team player who can build strong cross team/ divisional/ cross market relationships with colleagues to find the best solution.
      • Ability to drive forward improvements in processes and the way that we work.
