      Position Summary

      Manage the effective translation of global brand strategy into local implementation between Corby and the US market. Inspire and motivate all stakeholders while providing salient, quantitative and qualitative analysis on Market Delivery, Market Analysis and Market Activation. Act as a key contact with the Importer and Distributors in the local market to ensure delivery of the annual plan.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Work in collaboration with local markets and Market Brand team to establish an implementation plan based on sound market analysis
      • Manage the Route to Market for Corby’s Canadian International Spirits portfolio primarily in the USA
      • A&P management – ability to identify opportunities, activate appropriate funding to achieve meaningful ROI
      • Identify local needs and provide new or existing solutions based on best practices and tools available and inspire markets to adopt them
      • Communicate the benefits of Canadian Whisky in a way that inspires passionate work, energy and the right approach
      • Identify emerging problems through KPI tracking and suggest effective, remedial action
      • Understands how key P&L levers impact business performance and show ability to activates key levers understanding the nuances between See Through & Statutory to deliver business performance (e.g., net sales, cost optimization, A&P effectiveness)
      • Fully understand key metrics and market dynamics required to evaluate market performance
      • Assist supply chain management team with forecasting & development of NDP for various the US market
      • Direct people management of the Global Brand Ambassador with key managerial responsibilities including but not limited to on-going performance huddles, T&E management, performance coaching, OKR development & discussion, Development of in market Education priorities & embedding excellence in execution
      • Assist in guiding the activities of the Brand Ambassadors (Global and Local) in pursuit of maximum efficiency to reach the greatest number of influencers, customers, and consumers
      • Implementing, executing and measuring a seeding strategy that relies on building share of heart rather than weight of A&P
      • Lead and/or participate in special projects as required

      Required Skills & Abilities

      • Exhibit a proven track record of building advocacy in all channels of the business through effective engagement that wins share of hearts and minds
      • Strong Commercial Acumen skills
      • Exhibit a proven track record of building relationships with internal (distributors, sales people) and external influencers (key bartenders, media) Demonstrate a global awareness of the craft/maker culture and have ability to operate within a wider craft context
      • Mine, build and develop relationships to increase influence on execution through strong interpersonal skills
      • Speaks confidently in front of a small audience (meeting or conference) keeping control of posture/gesture. Able to interact and lead discussion with audience
      • Ability to problem solve quickly and react in a pragmatic, effective manner
      • Display a keen attention to detail in both internal and external facing outputs

      Education

      • Required: Bachelor Degree or Equivalent
      • Preferred: Specialization in Marketing

      Experience

      • Required: 3 years of KAM experience
      • Preferred: Beverage Alcohol International Market experience (preferably US)
