      Due to our ever-growing portfolio of national projects, we have an immediate opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join the Utilities Operations & Maintenance Business based in either Melbourne or Sydney. Our Utilities Operations & Maintenance business is a trusted provider of services to owners of assets across power, water, and gas sectors. Building on our strong reputation and long-standing contracts in power distribution, transmission, and water operations and maintenance, we are poised for significant growth. As part of our strategic growth plan, we're expanding our team to bolster our capacity to deliver operations and maintenance services within the utilities sector. About the role You will be accountable for supporting commercial project delivery across the portfolio, partnering with project managers and the portfolio General Manager in developing and delivering on commercial strategies, financial and commercial management of projects, contract reviews and formation, and provide authoritative advice to senior management on matters relating to commercial opportunities and risk associated with the projects to ensure financial success of the projects within your portfolio. We are looking for a Commercial Manager who takes ownership of all commercial aspects within your exciting portfolio across a range of projects including: financial management, reporting, contract security, key procurement and subcontractor strategy, engagement and management, insurance, head and subcontract administration, claims, variations and disputes under the head contract and key subcontracts, working with Project personnel to ensure our projects are delivered on time, on budget and with accurate forecasting, cost controls and timely reporting. About You · Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Commerce, or Law or proven commercial experience equivalent · Solid experience in commercial and contract management on large complex maintenance, engineering or infrastructure projects.
