      Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Market ing Specialist to join our growing team in Agawam , MA!

      The Commercial Lines Marketing Specialist provides marketing support to the service team and other members of the department to drive the delivery of exceptional customer service. Primary responsibilities are in the marketing of accounts and in providing technical backup for the production staff. Efforts support the production of new and renewal business.

      How You Will Contribute:

      • Quote insurance policies utilizing various insurance carrier web-based platforms in accordance with company and state regulations and timeframes .

      • Prepare proposal documents for new and renewal clients at the direction of the Marketing Leader and/or producer.

      • Generate initial rating/quotations for new and remarketed accounts; including ordering updated loss information, obtaining updated information, documenting renewal applications, preparing proposals, obtaining quotes and preparing marketing materials and binders.

      • Utilize the Agency Management System to document all activities in accordance with agency Insurance Operations guidelines.

      • Assist with the training of additional marketing team members as requested .

      • Gather Carrier and industry data from Marketing meetings to report to Commercial Lines & Producer teams as necessary.

      • Assist other marketing and sales staff in obtaining market information and research.

      • Respond to client questions and maintain appropriate correspondence files.

      • Communicate marketing status with service and sales team.

      • Build courteous and successful relationships with team , vendors and carriers to improve client retention.

      • Participate in training opportunities to remain current on industry information, new product development, legislation, coverages, and technology including professional development and continuing education required for valid licensing.

      Licenses and Certifications:

      • Property & Casualty Producer license in good standing

      Skills & Experience to Be Successful:

      • High School diploma

      • College degree in a business-related field (preferred)

      • Proficient with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel

      • Comfortable with technology and ability to learn and utilize multiple systems

      • Exceptional telephone demeanor

      • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

      • 3+ years' experience in the insurance industry, preferably in a marketing role
