Liaising with Borrowers, Branches, Correspondents, and other teams to manage and coordinate welcome letters and payment set up for fundings and assumptions.
Act as the lead coordinator with other teams to ensure the smooth transition of extensions, discharges and various other tasks on a day to day basis.
Process the arrears collection process and handle the servicing of the loan accounts in default and work with the Mortgage Special Asset Team.
Maintaining and responding to Inquiries from Borrowers and Stakeholders received through our Management Inbox and various phone lines in a timely manner.
Review of monthly reporting for various tasks.
Participation in system testing and ad-hoc projects.
Review and release of wires and cheques within sign off limit as required.
Knowledge of tax and insurance processes and maintenance of Reserve Accounts in to assist other teams and Stakeholders.
Assist Borrowers having issues trying to access our on-line Mortgage Portal.
Processing day to day sundry tasks associated with managing a mortgage portfolio.
Peer review of completed work, and Peer training when required.
Ensure all written and electronic documentation meets compliance requirements, and maintaining highly organized and current data is kept up to date.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Solid understanding of Commercial Mortgage Servicing and/or Residential Mortgage Servicing experience.

Job Description
Reporting to the Mortgage Client Services Team, the Mortgage Analyst will work closely with business partners and the leadership team to meet/exceed our service level commitments and identify and execute opportunities to improve how we support our various teams and service our customers.

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.

Salary range is expected to be between
$58,650.00 CAD - $97,750.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
